Many times, a simple telephone call will clear up any misunderstandings.
We will send you a monthly statement. As a courtesy, we will submit the initial claim to your insurance company for the services we provide you. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.
If you have insurance, we will be happy to assist you in dealing with your insurance company. We will need to verify coverage before treatment begins. If we predetermine benefits through your insurance company, we will ask you to bring your co-payment the day of treatment. The predetermination of benefits process can take several weeks. If you want to proceed with treatment prior to receiving a predetermination, we will estimate what your portion of treatment cost may be, and that amount will be due on the day of surgery. Remember, this is only an estimate based on the information provided to us by you and your insurance company. The actual amount of your out of pocket expense may vary and your actual responsibility may be more or less than the amount you pay on the day of surgery.
