Everything went smoothly. I was nervous but Dr Wagner had the tooth out quicker than it took for my mouth to get numb. I received verbal and written instructions as well as 2 prescriptions for pain just in case. I’m still on day one and my mouth is still a little numb but so far so good. I expect the best.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kortebein extracting my 4 wisdom teeth. I had been procrastinating this procedure for some time but after meeting with him and listening to all the options I felt very comfortable knowing I would be in good hands. I decided to do the nitrous gas because I didn't want to completely be out for the procedure. Dr. Kortebein and his team were very kind with making sure I was doing well throughout the surgery. He is extremely skilled, professional, and knowledgeable in his expertise. I couldn't believe how quick he was able to extract all 4 wisdom teeth. I didn't experience any significant pain during or after the procedure which was a plus too. I would definitely recommend this oral surgeon to others who are looking to get their wisdom teeth removed.

I have a confession to make: Dr. Kortebein is my brother. However, when he was done extracting the tooth I asked him, "So are you ready?" to which he replied, "I am finished". Pain management is, apparently, his strong suit. That and I really enjoyed, being part Irish, the low-key and friendly staff in Oak Creek. One more thing, his newfangled x-ray setup was very comfortable (no bitewings!).
