Very thorough and professional in the consultation visit giving me confidence in selecting Dr Kortebein to go ahead with the wisdom tooth extraction, which was completed earlier this week. Procedure went very well. Same thoroughness by both the Dr Kortebein and his support staff. Super follow through providing instructions, soliciting questions, and following up by phone the day after. Also worth noting was that there was a question on an adjacent tooth condition and potential extraction necessity. This second tooth concern actually drove the need for the wisdom tooth extraction (a 64 year in the making issue). Upon removal of the wisdom tooth, only normal dental repair will now be required on the adjacent tooth. Hopefully I will never need an oral surgeon again.....but if so I will be returning.

Omg!! This was my first time here and the stafff is very very pleasant, And Dr. Kimmel is the absolute best !! I would highly recommend Dr Kimmel. Had to have an emergency dental extraction with an infection already present a few weeks ago. Re office staff: Heather at the Mequon office was an incredible help as these surgeons do not return phone calls to patients(told this by staff at Mequon)- Heather called back and answered all my questions- truly knowledgeable and helpful and I am so grateful. Also Linda at the oak Creek office- Wonderful! got me an emergency appt on a Monday morning and listened to my concerns -again knowledgeable and really helpful. I had three post op visits at each of the locations so I am comfortable to say it is a professional atmosphere. That being said, there are a few staff who really need some education on what they say over the phone ie advice to patients - its beyond their scope to make assumptions with clients on their level of pain or concerns offered. These are best handled by an assistant to the surgeons.
